The decent of American culture

The recent discovery of concerns in America from inside my family.  A particular member was telling me how great their job is and how I need to quit my full time job to work for Lyft. This 40 something year old indidviual told me how great it is as you get to set Your own schedule, only workin if You want to. You dont have to pay taxes and 100% of the check is yours. Not like working for a company that steals your hard on money to pay taxes. Seriously? This is an actual thought from someone who graduated highschool. Unaware of the fact come tax season next year he will be sent a 1099 and as a subcontractor will be responsable for both his share and the employers protion as he never paid anything out of his checks. He proceeded to tell me county health care works great for him and is insurnce has no idea he is driving for lyft. When asked if he was aware a wreck while driving for lyft could void is insurence. Questioning the Human Race

The more time one spends on social media the more one has to wonder if the human race is nearing the end of its time. The level of idiotic behavior is now at the highest point I have ever witnessed. Living in one of the most touristy areas of the country. Central Florida has alot of options for travelers. Watching people demand their "perfect child" be allowed to ride a ride that clearly is not safe for a child of such a size to ride. Demanding police be called for profiling and seeing the complaints about impacting the child's ability to have a normal life by keeping them safe. First and foremost theme parks create height requirements for safety. As an adult in charge of the safety of a child rather yours or someones else's child. In Response to some of the social media attacks on a minor of Our nation's President I offer you this: No Child dictates what their parents do or who they are. While you may not like Donald Trump or his wife, they are in the oval office as President and First Lady. Their son Baron Trump had no say in his parents, nor their career or political ambitions. Yes, his family has tons of money. That is not a reason for the American people and media to attack him. Several outlets have released or commented on the fact it's been a standing tradition of not target the ch ildren (minors) of any president. Baron has done nothing wrong nothing criminal yet people have gone out of their way to make crude remarks about him.  I ask you to think about it in a different set of terms. What if Baron was your son, nephew, grand child. Would you stand by and allow this. While he is not that too many of us. How would you respond if he was? Traditions

Traditions are valuable ways to teach our younger generations about our past and our history. I applaud those who teach the thing to their kids. However, it appears more and more that our nation has quit teaching our children about how we got our freedoms what those are. As many know we are raising self-entitled uneducated self-centered brats. More and more feel all should be handed to them not working for not earned. Just showing up is enough. This is the American Epidemic that will bring us down. Not Zika, not Japanese Killer Wasp But the generations coming up who don't understand what has happened and how it affects us now. They don't understand hard work, the value of an education. When an African American Middle School Student tells me: It's African Appreciation Month in January and expects me to give him something for this statement.       I'm sorry this is not about anything more than hate and illogical stereotypes. Baton Rouge and Minnesota both have issues with police abusing power and gross abuse of force. Yes, I'm saying both men were killed for no reason.      Dallas: a town I call home, a peaceful rally went from that to mass casualty scene. You saw the protesters help the cops and you saw the cops protect the protesters. The media, however, has over reached their authority yet again. Armed Forces Day Vs. Memorial Day vs. Veterans Day

Armed Forces Day - Originates from the date of August 31, 1949, when Secretary of Defense Louis Johnson announced the creation to serve as a day to thank and honor the men and women currently serving in our nation's military. Veterans Day- In 1919 on the 11th of November “Armistice Day” was created and that is the beginning of  Veterans Day. I day we as Americans use to honor those who served in any war to date and thank them for their sacrifice rather physical mental or the fact they did with out so we could have the lives we do. Memorial Day- Memorial Day is an American Holiday created to honor the ultimate sacrifice a member of our nation's military has paid for our freedoms. On the last Monday in May we honor those service members. Originally known and Decoration day it was set aside as far back as the civil war in 1971 it become an official federal holiday I know some say what does it matter to separate the days why not just honor them all the same. How many times in America in the last 10 years have we heard.. . Military members doing wrong? A cop fired or arrested? A teacher is arrested? A doctor is in trouble? Now we have people trampling the American Flag, and people saying its freedom of speech. No it's not an act of Speech it's a bunch of idiots who don't understand what it took to get the Flag below their feet. We have people who are out to kill cops because One Cop Somewhere at some time may have done a perceived wrong to them or their family.  To those that say it occurred. I say Where you there?
