Current Trends

In America today we have seen a current trend that is both unnerving and unsettling.

We have rules in place in society for everyone's safety. When people feel they above the law and rules we have issues.

There have been many times in the past few years we have seen this:

2013 we had the start of this trend (while more may have been around this is the the one that starts the ice burg for me)

Sanford, Florida

George Zimmerman

When George Zimmerman volunteered to be a community neighborhood watch member in the CAP program i am sure he was told his duties were nothing more then observe and report. No CAP program allows their civilians to ride in the cars with hand guns. Yet Mr. Zimmerman being a better then everyone an above the law did just that. Despite being told not to pursue the man in question he did so anyways even leaving his vehicle that offered safety and protection from possible attack.

By doing this he caused many issues for him self and others.

Next major issue is:

Ferguson, Missouri

An officer responds to a 911 call that a store had been robbed. As he approaches a possible suspect the man charges him. Rather high or just feeling he out sized the officer he felt he was allowed to do this. Micheal Brown paid for that choice with his life. His parents of course say their son was a gentle giant and would not hurt a fly. Yet, his arrest record says other wise. Instead race batters used inaccurate accounts of information to ruin the lives of the officer and his family.

Next we have

Baltimore, Maryland

where Freddie grey was picked up and arrested put in a city police van to be transported and upon being in the van rather he threw him self into the side of the van when it stopped or the officer had to slam the breaks. We have seen things get out of hand. Do we know why the police had to stop suddenly? No we do not. Could it have been to avoid a wreck, not hit someone jay walking?  Do i agree the man should have been secured better yes.

Most recently we have
South Carolina

A high school student is told to leave the room she refuses. The SRO (School Resource Officer)  was asked to assist. Yet the video we got is the slam that occurred.  The young women refused to leave when the officer tried to get close she kicked and kneed him. This is called assaulting an officer. At the high school level the student should have known better.

Here are the issues.

  • Disrespect for authority
  • blatant disregard for the law and rules
  • the belief they are above the law
  • Self entitlement
  • Lack of consequences
  • Lack of priorities

By firing an officer of a 15 second video for defending him self and the teacher. You have sent the message to students that its okay to disrespect your teacher and authority figures. The student had assaulted an officer disrupted the class room and encouraged the officer to use more force then normally would have taken to solve this.

The normal force to solve this with a student who is not combative would be looking at them and saying " Come with me, Please". The bs of all cops needing Verbal Judo is non sense. I have taken Verbal Judo and ill tell you if a person wants to be combative and escalate the issue they will no words will work.

As a start we need to ensure the kids that are being raised have to be accountable for their actions or in actions. Quit giving free passes. IF you hit a cop your in trouble you dont do your work your grade suffers.
Parents need to quit assuming the world needs to raise their kids and raise them.

Presidents Kids

In Response to some of the social media attacks on a minor of Our nation's President I offer you this: No Child dictates what their parents do or who they are. While you may not like Donald Trump or his wife, they are in the oval office as President and First Lady. Their son Baron Trump had no say in his parents, nor their career or political ambitions. Yes, his family has tons of money. That is not a reason for the American people and media to attack him. Several outlets have released or commented on the fact it's been a standing tradition of not target the ch ildren (minors) of any president. Baron has done nothing wrong nothing criminal yet people have gone out of their way to make crude remarks about him.  I ask you to think about it in a different set of terms. What if Baron was your son, nephew, grand child. Would you stand by and allow this. While he is not that too many of us. How would you respond if he was? I for one would not stand by watching my brothers or ...

The decent of American culture

The recent discovery of concerns in America from inside my family.  A particular member was telling me how great their job is and how I need to quit my full time job to work for Lyft. This 40 something year old indidviual told me how great it is as you get to set Your own schedule, only workin if You want to. You dont have to pay taxes and 100% of the check is yours. Not like working for a company that steals your hard on money to pay taxes. Seriously? This is an actual thought from someone who graduated highschool. Unaware of the fact come tax season next year he will be sent a 1099 and as a subcontractor will be responsable for both his share and the employers protion as he never paid anything out of his checks. He proceeded to tell me county health care works great for him and is insurnce has no idea he is driving for lyft. When asked if he was aware a wreck while driving for lyft could void is insurence. He told me that cant void his coverage because his mother paid for it. Ar...

2016 Vote Meteor

I'm sorry this is not about anything more than hate and illogical stereotypes. Baton Rouge and Minnesota both have issues with police abusing power and gross abuse of force. Yes, I'm saying both men were killed for no reason.      Dallas: a town I call home, a peaceful rally went from that to mass casualty scene. You saw the protesters help the cops and you saw the cops protect the protesters. The media, however, has over reached their authority yet again. The man they showed carting an Ar-15 as a suspect has been threatened now and the fact is simple. He had surrendered his Gun shortly after the first office. Texas is an open carry state. Thus he is free to Cary this weapon there. The Dallas shootings had nothing to do with anything about lives it had everything to do with hate and promoting an agenda of one's own hate filled propaganda. I'm sure you will see the media start to fill in the blanks about the shooters. Yet never apol...
