Traditions are valuable ways to teach our younger generations about our past and our history. I applaud those who teach the thing to their kids. However, it appears more and more that our nation has quit teaching our children about how we got our freedoms what those are. As many know we are raising self-entitled uneducated self-centered brats. More and more feel all should be handed to them not working for not earned. Just showing up is enough. This is the American Epidemic that will bring us down. Not Zika, not Japanese Killer Wasp But the generations coming up who don't understand what has happened and how it affects us now. Armed Forces Day - Originates from the date of August 31, 1949, when Secretary of Defense Louis Johnson announced the creation to serve as a day to thank and honor the men and women currently serving in our nation's military. Veterans Day- In 1919 on the 11th of November “Armistice Day” was created and that is the beginning of  Veterans Day. I day we as Americans use to honor those who served in any war to date and thank them for their sacrifice rather physical mental or the fact they did with out so we could have the lives we do. Memorial Day- Memorial Day is an American Holiday created to honor the ultimate sacrifice a member of our nation's military has paid for our freedoms. On the last Monday in May we honor those service members. How many times in America in the last 10 years have we heard.. . Military members doing wrong? A cop fired or arrested? A teacher is arrested? A doctor is in trouble? Now we have people trampling the American Flag, and people saying its freedom of speech. No it's not an act of Speech it's a bunch of idiots who don't understand what it took to get the Flag below their feet. Can you not see what we are doing to ourselves. Our ever growing finical deficit is going to be the end of us. IF any of our debts were called in today we would have no way to pay them off. We need someone who can actually find a way to make a balanced budget that works for our Government while maintaining our military as one of the greatest in the World. Last couple of terms we have seen such drastic cuts in the United States Military that it is likely we will see results in wars to come. We have cut our man power, equipment, budget, and training requirements to make those not equipped mentally and or physically to maintain and contribute to the military life be accepted by lessening our standards. Yet we have an NFL combine where we ask athletes to prove who the best is to get a spot on a roster. NFL a game on TV where men get paid millions to play a game. So let me get this right.... we are in a day and age when people think its okay for their children to be out at night with a man who has not been identified and obviously reported the car stolen (1 crime one). So likely the two fifeteen year old girls did not have a license and the 16 year old may have had a license but not a car or they would have been in it. (possible crime if no License). Its 330 am when a patrol sargent sees the stolen care and starts to follow it. After engaging his lights. they continued to elude the police. All candidates have their priorities which are topped off with winning. However, all candidates have their faults. I think its safe to say that voting based on gender, race, religion is not going to help the country we have seen that the last 8 years. What does Americas past time say about us as a country? Many people watched Superbowl 50 where denver broncos played the Carolina panthers. Quarterbacks Payton Manning and Cam Newton came up in two different lifestyles. Neither bound by anything. Drive and love of the game brought them to this career of major league football. Where children all over look up to them. Cam newton says a small prayer before every game and give a kiss to his mother in his own way. However his actions pre game were not those of a role model. Dancing around like an idiot during the national anthem, having a towel or something over his head during it is disgraceful and disrespectful to the armed men and women who serve protecting the freedoms of our country day in and day out. Guns don't kill people! Guns are nothing more than tools used by various entities to serve a specific purpose. Law-enforcement personnel uses them in self-defense and defense of others who cannot defend themselves one Force must be met with force. Hunters use guns to take down an animal to serve as nutrition for their family. Park Rangers have been known to shoot an animal when it is acting in an aggressive manner toward civilization and or humans.  To blatantly say the guns kill people as incomprehensibly asinine. Those who put up these graphics about the car kills this many lightning kills these many guns kill this many are part of the problem with society today.
